About This Journal

The Journal of Justice-Informed Social Work Practice and Research is dedicated to the advancement of justice-informed, anti-racist and anti-oppressive social work practice, research and education. This publication seeks to promote antiracism, diversity, equity, and inclusion in our society and the social work profession through dissemination of original works focused on the advancement of human rights, social, economic, racial and environmental justice. The journal’s intended audience is scholars, practitioners, social work educators, policymakers, researchers, and students who have a vested interest in engaging in critical and liberating dialogue around practices to address the complex nature of injustice and its impact on human, social and environmental systems.
