Abstract
Last semester, I had the opportunity to work as a direct care professional at ACR Homes. ACR provides residential support for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. This provided me with training on medications, up-to-date CPR and first aid, and much more. This helped me to further my knowledge in both healthcare and Biological Sciences. Working with individuals with disabilities has been such a blessing for me to see. With such an underrepresented part of healthcare, I feel as though God had led me to that position.
