Abstract
This thesis writer examined the Cultural Responsive Teaching (CRT) strategies for working with students who are identified with special education needs in particular emotional behavioral disabilities and autism spectrum disabilities (EBD & ASD). The strategies have been reviewed throughout this thesis. It is a very well organized instructional system which considers a number of learning areas namely: academic, social/emotional, and cultural aspects. This method has been defined from a variety of references/writers and supported by a review of the literature. The system incorporates a number of strategies addressing academic, social/emotional, cultural and other areas/needs as indicated in this thesis.
