Abstract
Christ through Four Gospel Portraits" is an exploration of the the distinct historical, literary, and theological contributions of each Evangelist to the question of the identity and mission of Jesus for its earliest Christian readership. This first of four lectures covers an overview of Gospels as a whole and focuses on the specifics of the Gospel of Mark.
