Abstract
This is the text and audio of an address given to Bethel University's College of Arts and Sciences community during the first Convocation Chapel of the Year by Professor of Biblical and Theological Studies, Juan Hernandez. Hernandez explains his personal reaction to the death of Philando Castille and his first time attending a protest. He explains how he discussed it with his daughter and called on the Bethel community to be aware of the juxtaposition of different experiences of justice nationally and in Saint Paul.
