Empathy: A Novel Problem for Christians
Files
Description
With some American evangelical Christians calling empathy a sin while others fume with indignation or simply blink in bafflement, what’s an English professor at an evangelical Christian university to do? This talk seeks to provide some context for contemporary discussions of empathy within its contextual history in aesthetic discourse and the more recent conversation between Christians about its role in our lives.
